A DISABLED FRIENDLY CHURCH

Do you attend a good church, or have you attended what you consider to be a good church?

                        What makes a good church?

Let us give you the criteria that we at PDCE consider as essential for a church to

meet before we will consider it to be a 'good church'

                        The church must be Trinitarian*

The Gospel of Jesus Christ must be preached.*

The church must be welcoming to all no matter their class, colour, age or ability.*

The church, all premises where church activities take place must be accessible to those who

use a wheelchair and those who have a mobility impairment.*

The church should be looped to assist those with hearing difficulties.*

Large print hymn and service books should be available.*

The content and style of worship must be accessible to all.*

Toilet facilities must be accessible to wheelchair users and others with mobility impairment.*
