We sing our praises and thanksgiving to you,

most holy God,

 in response to your gracious activity in our lives.

You have gathered us here in front of our computers

 to remind us

that although you are the one to whom all power belongs,

you care for the fearful and the anxious,

the weak and powerless.

May this time of worship be a true expression of our praise and adoration.  

 In Jesus’ name we pray.

Lord Jesus,

When we are well and truly down,

When everything and everyone seems against us,

We can call upon you, and you will answer.

You are our God.

 

You are with us through all the horrible things that happen to us.

Even when we turn away from you, you still care.

When we have felt that everything is pushing us down,

Squeezing the life out of us, you lift us out of that pit.

O LORD my God.

 

 When we felt our life was ebbing away,
 you were there and you heard our prayer,

Sent us comfort and hope.

Hear our song of thanksgiving.
